Self Honesty

One of the first and greatest triumphs a child of the Great Manitou may achieve is victory over self-deception. It is easy to shift blame or justify error, yet such avoidance weakens the spirit, then when the storms come, that weakness causes failure. The courageous leader looks inward, acknowledging fault without fear. When we dare to face our weaknesses with calm honesty, we open the door to transformation. From this honesty springs genuine progress and renewed integrity.

"I face truth without fear, for only in honesty may I grow strong."
