Once a person decides that they would like to live the culture of the Sacred Circle. To begin a new life following the Path of the Great Manitou, one of his children, walking in the footsteps of our Great Father, to grow up to become like Him. This is marked by the adoption ceremony, where those who have shown that they can care for others, without taking offence, are adopted into the family of The Father of Manitou.
To find a family where a person can bear their burdens, to lighten that family's load; to care for them when they are suffering; to comfort them when they need comforting; always establishing peace; to be the example of living the way of the Gitchi Manitou in all circumstances; is a great blessing!
I love it!! I love this format of teaching these principles within the Sacred Circle. It’s like putting sweet wine into new bottles. You help me examine myself in every direction of the Sacred Circle, to live more peaceably outwardly, and within myself.
ReplyDeleteI didn’t realize that to even step into the sanctification arena, I must always be establishing peace with everyone. I need only say things that will comfort and help others feel better about themselves that magnify their good qualities in their own eyes, and in my own heart and mind. Then, I can more easily see their positive intent, and express those good things to them.
Once you help me lock onto these thoughts, I can see the many redeemable, good qualities in every person.
I have recently discovered that if I say anything to someone who let me down, even when I qualify it with understanding, (because of my pride I would do this) I get myself into deep trouble.
I just made a far bigger mess that takes forever to clean up.
This is NOT establishing Peace.
When I think I have been let down, I have actually taken offense. That’s big. As though I should not have been let down?
This is the place to get let down, in this life. People are actually doing me a great favor to let me down. Otherwise how in the world would I ever learn how to establish peace and not take offense?
Sanctification is a critical element to obtain on my journey into the flaming heart of the great
Gitchi Manitou. I appreciate these insights He has taught you that you have accomplished!
Without this knowledge and witness, I would not have the burning desire to keep trying.
Thank-you!
We all walk together on this sacred road.
